WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Bob Corker will hold a town hall meeting with citizens of Scott County on Thursday, August 16, at 4 p.m., at the Scott County Office Building in Huntsville. This event is open to the public.

During the Senate’s August recess, Corker will be visiting 38 counties across the state to listen to his constituents’ concerns and provide an update on his work in Tennessee and Washington on their behalf.

Sen. Corker is a freshman Republican Senator. The former Chattanooga mayor defeated Democratic challenger Harold Ford Jr. last November and succeeds former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist.

Scott County is served by Sen. Corker’s regional office in Knoxville.
