Many Cannon Countians took advantage of the chance to ask questions and air their views.
The August recess for Congress this year is seeing many of the members returning to their states and districts to hold town hall meeting on the issue of health care reform. Senator Bob Corker is conducting 30 such meeting across the state. One of those meeting was in Woodbury Tuesday.
A near capacity crowd filled the Cannon Senior Center. The senator spoke for about 20 minutes on the state of health care in America. A question and answer session followed. The bulk of the questions focused on health care reform. Other questions ranged from topics including; walking horse regulations, VA Hospitals and banks, their policies ranging from fees to the availability of loans.
