Greeneville Sun: Corker: Inaction On Deficit In D.C. 'A National Disgrace'

The "struggle of our decade" has begun as Congress seeks the right ingredients to the appropriate recipe for lowering the national deficit and improving the economy, U.S. Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., told a local audience Tuesday.

Sen. Corker addressed these issues and more during a meeting with supporters and other interested members of the public at the General Morgan Inn on Tuesday.

The Greene County Republican Party oversaw the meeting, with Chairman Wayne Bettis presiding and the Greene County Republican Women's Club providing refreshments.
